Driveway Installation in Huntington Beach, CA
Concrete driveways built to handle SoCal sun, salt air, and decades of daily use. Tear-out, base prep, pour, and finish — all by one foreman-led crew.
Concrete Driveways That Hold Up to SoCal Living
A driveway is the first thing visitors see — and the first thing that fails when it's poured wrong. We've been pouring residential driveways across Huntington Beach and the rest of Southern California since 1995, and the through-line is the same on every job: the slab is only as good as what's underneath it. We compact and grade the sub-base, install proper joint spacing, reinforce with rebar or fiber, and finish by hand so your driveway looks crisp on day one and 30 years from now.
We specialize in full tear-out and replacement, new construction approaches, RV pads, gated entry pours, and decorative finishes (stamped, stained, exposed aggregate, broom finish). Every quote is a written, line-item proposal — you'll know exactly what's being poured, with what mix, and why.

Why Homeowners Choose S&P for Driveways
30 years of pouring driveways across Orange County means we know what works in this climate, on this soil, and under this sun.
Site & Soil Assessment
We check the existing slab, sub-base, and drainage before quoting — no surprises mid-pour.
Engineered Reinforcement
Rebar grid, mesh, or fiber — sized to your driveway's actual use, not a generic minimum.
Proper Joint Spacing
Control joints planned out before pour day so cracks happen where they're invisible.
Written Workmanship Warranty
Every driveway pour comes with a written warranty — and we're still around to honor it.
Engineered Mix, Not a Guess
Standard residential is 4 inches of 3,000–4,000 PSI. RV pads, work trucks, or expansive soil push us to 5–6 inches with rebar. We spec to your actual loads — never a one-size-fits-all pour.

Hand-Finished by Foremen Who've Done 1,000+
Our finishers have decades on the trowel. They know exactly when to bull float, when to edge, when to broom — that timing is the difference between a smooth, durable surface and one that scales off in five years.

Every Type of Concrete Driveway
From simple tear-and-replace to high-end stamped concrete, we've poured every variant Southern California homes need.
Standard Tear & Replace
Most common project: remove the old, fix the base, pour fresh. The only way to get a 30-year driveway from a failing one.
Stamped Concrete Driveways
Slate, brick, ashlar, cobblestone — stamped patterns with integral color that won't fade. Looks like pavers, lasts like concrete.
RV & Work Truck Pads
Heavier slab, extra reinforcement, and a graded surface that handles repeated loads without settling or cracking.
Exposed Aggregate
Slip-resistant, distinctive, and durable. Great for sloped or curved driveways where texture matters.
Stained & Decorative Finishes
Acid stain, water-based stain, integral color, or a combination. Subtle character without the maintenance of pavers.
Apron & Curb Cut Work
We coordinate with city engineers for the apron pour where your driveway meets the public right-of-way.
What's Included in Every Driveway Project
Every engagement includes the following as standard.
Local Driveway Experts Since 1995
Three decades of pouring driveways within five miles of the Pacific. We know what salt air, marine layer, and 90-degree summers do to concrete.
Coastal Mix Designs
Salt air degrades cheap concrete fast. Our mixes are specced for marine-influenced exposure and last decades longer.
Expansive Soil Experience
Pockets of clay-heavy soil across OC. We compact and stabilize correctly so your driveway doesn't heave the first wet winter.
City Permit Coordination
Apron pours, curb cuts, and right-of-way work — we know the inspectors and pull the permits so you don't have to.
30-Year Reputation
Most of our work comes from referrals and repeat clients. The pour that lasted 25 years is the one that gets us hired again.
Driveway Installation FAQ
Yes — fully licensed in California, bonded, and insured with general liability and workers' compensation coverage. We can provide certificates of insurance on request before any project starts.
Every pour includes a written workmanship warranty. Specific terms vary by scope (a flatwork driveway is different than a structural foundation), but the through-line is simple: if something we did doesn't hold up the way it should, we make it right.
Standard residential driveways are 4 inches of 3,000–4,000 PSI concrete over a properly compacted base. If you park RVs, work trucks, or expect heavy loads, we step up to 5–6 inches with reinforcement. We spec it to your actual use, not a generic minimum.
Almost always remove and replace. Pouring over existing concrete traps moisture, transmits cracks, and shortens the life of the new slab. We tear out, fix the base, and pour fresh — the only way to get a 25+ year driveway.
Walking on it: about 24 hours. Light vehicles (cars): 7 days. Heavy trucks or trailers: wait 14–28 days for full strength. We tape the access and leave clear instructions before we go.
All concrete moves. The question is whether cracks are controlled or random. We use proper joint spacing, fiber or wire reinforcement when called for, and a balanced mix design — so cracks happen at the joints (where they're invisible), not across the slab.
