Patio Installation in Huntington Beach, CA
Backyard patios poured to handle SoCal indoor-outdoor living. Stamped, stained, or smooth — every patio sized, sloped, and finished to match your space.
Patios Built for SoCal Living
A patio isn't a slab — it's the floor of your outdoor living room. Wrong slope, wrong joints, or wrong finish and you're staring at a cracked, dirty surface every weekend instead of using it. We pour patios specifically for the way Southern Californians actually live: barefoot in summer, with a fire pit in winter, hosting fifteen people on Saturdays, hose-rinsed every Sunday.
S&P pours every variant — from clean modern slab patios with broom finish to elaborate stamped, stained, and patterned outdoor spaces with integrated planters, fire features, and steps. We coordinate with your landscaper, designer, or builder when needed, and run the project soup to nuts when you don't have one.

What Makes an S&P Patio Different
Three decades of patios in Orange County. We've learned exactly what works for our climate, our soil, and the way we actually use these spaces.
Layout & Design Help
Sizing, shape, and traffic flow planned out so the patio fits the way you'll actually use it.
Drainage Engineering
Slope, drains, and joint placement designed so water leaves your patio fast.
Decorative Finish Options
Stamped, stained, exposed aggregate, polished, broom — we bring samples, you choose.
Integrated Hardscape
Steps, planters, seat walls, fire pits — all poured together with the patio for a unified look.
Slope, Drainage, and Joint Layout — Done Right
Every patio needs 1/4 inch per foot of slope away from the house, joints planned around foot traffic, and drains positioned so water disappears the way it should. We obsess over this stuff because it's what separates a patio that lasts from one that puddles.

Custom Finishes That Won't Fade
Integral color, stamped patterns, acid stains, exposed aggregate, smooth trowel, broom finish. We bring sample boards to every consultation so you can see and feel the options before committing.

Every Patio Variant Done Right
From clean modern flatwork to elaborate stamped and stained spaces — here's what we pour.
Smooth Trowel & Broom
Clean, modern, low-maintenance. Smooth trowel for indoor-outdoor flow, broom finish for slip-resistance around pools.
Stamped Concrete Patios
Flagstone, slate, brick, wood plank — stamped patterns with integral color. The look of pavers without joints to weed.
Acid-Stained Concrete
Permanent, variegated color tones that look like natural stone. Each pour develops its own character.
Exposed Aggregate
Stones revealed in the surface for texture and slip resistance. Great around pools and on slopes.
Integrated Steps & Walls
Patios poured monolithically with steps, seat walls, and planters for a single, unified hardscape.
Pool Decks
Slip-resistant finishes specced for around-water use. Coordinated with your pool builder if needed.

Patio Installation FAQ
Every pour includes a written workmanship warranty. Specific terms vary by scope (a flatwork driveway is different than a structural foundation), but the through-line is simple: if something we did doesn't hold up the way it should, we make it right.
Yes — stamped, stained, broom finish, exposed aggregate, salt finish. We'll bring sample boards to your consultation so you can see and feel the options before committing.
A typical 300–600 sq ft patio is 3–5 working days from form-up to final cure. Decorative finishes (stamped, stained) add another day or two. Weather and permit timing can extend this.
Most cities allow ground-level concrete patios under a certain size without a permit, but rules vary by jurisdiction. We check before we quote and handle the permit if one's needed.
Stamped concrete is one continuous slab — no settling joints, no weed lines, lower maintenance. Pavers are easier to repair piece-by-piece. For most driveways and patios, stamped concrete wins on cost and longevity. We'll lay out the trade-offs honestly.
Integral color (mixed into the concrete) is permanent — it can't fade because the color goes all the way through. Surface stains and sealers do dull over time, so we recommend resealing every 3–5 years to keep the finish sharp.
